Interview with Yannick

What is your favorite way to spend your free time?

Stand-up paddling, surfing, and water skiing – water sports have really captured my interest, and I'm always excited to try something new.
Among other things, I’ve earned licenses in catamaran sailing and windsurfing, and one day I’d like to add a diving certification to the list.

Your hobby and your job - where do you see similarities? How does your hobby help you in your day-to-day work?

I actually see my hobbies more as a balance to my professional life. Being active outdoors helps me switch off and clear my mind.
Still, there is an interesting parallel: especially with water sports, it's essential to see and understand the bigger picture. From which direction are the waves coming, and how strong are they? Are there rocks or reefs? How deep is the water, and how strong is the wind?

This mindset is also crucial in my professional work. In web analytics, numerous influencing factors come into play. Especially when it comes to technical implementation, the entire technical structure of the website needs to be considered.

Are there any events or traditions that you particularly like at the TIMETOACT GROUP or in your company?

The annual water-skiing event in summer is a real highlight for me. In a relaxed atmosphere, it's a great opportunity to connect with colleagues from different companies and celebrate the GROUP's successes together.

If you could give your former self one piece of advice in terms of career development, what would it be?

Trust in yourselves and your abilities! At first, many things might seem new and challenging, but everything can be learned – and the team will actively support you along the way.

How do the culture and benefits of the TIMETOACT GROUP support you in your day-to-day work?

I really appreciate the opportunity to work flexibly from abroad and take advantage of “workations.” It allows me to enjoy longer, more immersive stays abroad that wouldn’t be possible with regular vacation days alone. I truly value the high level of trust TIMETOACT GROUP places in its employees and their ability to work independently.

Do you have a morning ritual that helps you start the day??

My morning ritual is to prepare as much as possible the night before – especially on days when I go into the office. I get breakfast and lunch ready in the evening, and I pack my backpack with my laptop and other essentials. That way, there are fewer tasks in the morning, and starting the day becomes a lot easier.
